I read this story late at night and didn't fall asleep. I read Portions for Silver Foxes by same author first and like how this story is a continuation of narrative character and she hearkens back to the previous tale. I like narrator's relationship with Penelope. The dynamic of how the Europeans co-habitate and interact is good and shown in a number of spheres. I like how she describes trying to meet each week, and how much texts keep things going. The reveal of the title is nice. I like the holiday section as this is one of the most poignant times of year during which to be single and searching.
I've loved Claire's work since she was on TC and this is really good too. Thanks Claire, keep writing!
